Create a grant round

Modified on Wed, 13 Sep 2023 at 02:03 PM

Grant rounds are where you manage groups of applications.

A grant round can remain open indefinitely, over a financial year i.e. Innovation Grants 2019 or just a set period of time.

You must have an open grant round to be able to enter or receive applications

Grant rounds are created from a program.

  1. Open the program that you wish to create a grant round for

  2. Go to the Grant Rounds tab on the left

  3. Select the + icon

  4. Enter all the required fields on the General and Program Details tabs

  5. Save Draft

  6. Add a grant manager
Go to the Contacts tab on the left. Add a grant manager who will get added as the default grant manager to all applications within the round

  7. Open or schedule the grant round
When everything is ready, select Open button to make the grant round available or Schedule to automatically open at a future open date and time.

Depending on your system you may have some or all of the following:

  1. Single Stage Applications – An open round visible to all applicants

  2. Two-Stage Applications –  An open round visible to all applicants with a first stage (Expression of interest) and then a second stage for successful submissions

  3. Invited Applications – Will not appear as an open round and organisations will need to be invited to apply

  4. Staff Generated Grants – Will not appear as an open round and staff will need to manually enter the applications. Select this when all applications will be manually entered.
