Set your budget (Fund Allocations)

Modified on Wed, 13 Sep 2023 at 01:48 PM

A Fund Allocation is where you set your budget for a program for a given financial year. If you have multi-year grants you may set these up in advance.

Fund Allocations should align with your programs

How to create a fund allocation

  1. Open the Fund you wish to create allocations for from the Fund Manager Module

  2. Go to the Fund Allocations tab on the left

  3. Select the Plus icon to create a new Fund Allocation.

  4. Enter the Fund Allocation Name (Usually the same as your program)

  5. Enter the Fund Allocation Year  (Note: Some instances this will have already been set on the Fund and won't be visible)

  6. Enter the budget for that financial year in the ‘Total Original Amount’. Enter 0 if you aren’t sure yet and it can be added later.

  7. Click Save

  8. Click Approve to open the Fund Allocation and make it visible to select from when approving applications.
