Using an auspicer

Modified on Thu, 5 Oct, 2023 at 4:55 PM

To be eligible for some grants you may be required to be a registered charity with DGR1 status to apply.  If you don't meet this criteria you might use an organisation that will Auspice on your behalf.

When completing your application form you will need to answer Yes to the Auspice question.

Select the Invitation icon to invite your auspice contact.

Enter their details and click the Invite button.

Note: To include the title of your project in the invitation email, make sure you have entered and saved the project title on your application form before sending the invite.

Your auspice contact will receive an email letting them know they have been invited to auspice along with a link to accept or decline the invitation. You will receive an email if they choose to decline.

The status on the application will be updated to show Accepted if they accept.

Note: The auspice organisation will be able to login to Grant Toolbox and view your application. They will not have edit access or be able to submit the application
